The five districts consist of Pangandaran, Tasikmalaya, Garut, Cianjur and Sukabumi.
Sukabumi Regency, with a population of more than 3.5 million people, has made DAMRI the initiative to provide services in the form of pioneering transportation.
The aim of this DAMRI breakthrough is to support community mobilization in traveling from one area to another using public transportation.
Acting Corporate Secretary of DAMRI, Lishna Nurul Hikmah, said that his party had prepared four routes.
"DAMRI provides four pioneer service routes," he said, as reported on the BUMN Kabar page, Friday (21/07/2023).
Lishna Nurul Hikmah hopes that DAMRI's presence in Sukabumi can help the mobility of the surrounding community.
"DAMRI hopes that the presence of pioneering transportation in the Sukabumi and surrounding areas will be able to support community mobilization in traveling from one place to another," he said.
Lishna Nurul Hikmah explained that through this service, DAMRI is ready to meet the community's needs regarding transportation facilities. In the end, logistics costs can be reduced, agricultural and craft products can be distributed, and people can have better mobility.
The following are the routes and schedules for DAMRI's pioneer services in Sukabumi:
1. Sagaranten-Palabuhanratu (PP)
Departs from Sagaranten and Pelabuhan Ratu at 07.00, 12.00, 17.00 and 22.00 WIB with the route Sagaranten – Pabuaran – Sirnasari – Bojong Haur – Lengkong – Kiara Dua – Pelabuhan Ratu. The tariff is IDR 50 thousand.
2. Sagaranten – Tegalbuleud PP
Departs from Sagaranten and Tegalbuleud at 07.00 and 12.00 WIB with the route Sagaranten – Ciguyang – Cipamingkis – Cilodog – Rambay – Karang Anyar – Tegalbuleud. The tariff is IDR 40 thousand.
4. Sagaranten – Surade
Departs from Sagaranten and Surade at 07.00, 12.00 and 16.30 WIB with the route Sagaranten – Cisagu – Bang Shadow – Caringin – Kali Bunder – Cimanggu – Jampang Kulon – Surade. The tariff is IDR 30 thousand.
