sukabumiheadline.com – Ahead of the celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 Hijriyah/2024, the Alms with Indonesian Mechanics or SBMI program is again distributing cash donations amounting to tens of millions of Rupiah.

According to information obtained, the movement initiated by mechanics and vehicle repair shop owners is routinely held once a month throughout Indonesia. However, for April 2024, the movement feels more meaningful. Apart from being held in the blessed month, Ramadhan, it is also held ahead of Eid.

“This activity is routine. A kind of distribution of alms to as many as 23 orphans in the area databases "For us, the value is 200 thousand Rupiah per child," said one of the community activists, Ricky sukabuniheadline.com, Sunday (7/42024).

"However, for April 2024, because Eid is approaching, SBMI's alms budget is 500 thousand Rupiah per orphan, so a total of 15 million Rupiah will be distributed," added the workshop owner from Cidahu, Sukabumi Regency.

Ricky added that the SBMI movement was carried out by all community activists throughout Indonesia. Assistance and donations are given to other mechanic families in need in their respective areas.

"Including the family of our colleague in the Grobogan area, Central Java, whose husband, a fellow mechanic, died as a result of an accident," he explained.

"The donation was given at the beginning of April this year to the deceased's wife, Mariah Nurmawati, by our colleague there, Brother Inang," added Ricky.

Meanwhile, another activist, Istiyono, really appreciated the social activities through Alms with Indonesian Mechanics.

"I really appreciate this activity, and we would like to thank all our fellow mechanics in Indonesia who have participated in this program. Good luck for your workshop business. "We also wish you a happy Eid al-Fitr, we apologize physically and mentally," said the man who is usually called Aris Amro.

For information, SBMI has a network throughout Indonesia, this can be seen from the composition of the management which consists of mechanics from various regions.

From the Sukabumi area, for example, there are the names Ricky from Cidahu and Tommy Gultom from Parungkuda. Then, Aris Amro (Bogor), Anadza Kurniawan and Heri from Banjarnegara and PGO Teguh in Kudus, Central Java, and Andi Jeweh in Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.

“Everything is active, throughout Indonesia. "It's on the island of Kalimantan, Sumatra to Sulawesi, and many more," said Tommy Gultom, who is also the community's social media admin.

Thank you from the recipient

Receiving compensation from the SBMI program, the wife of the late Imron, Mariah Nurmawati, expressed her gratitude because after the death of her husband, the workshop has now closed because there is no one to continue Kasim's business.

"I would like to thank you for the compensation given, because after my husband died, I chose to become a migrant worker in the Middle East. "As for the workshop, because there is no one to continue, now the deceased's workshop is closed," said the mother of two children.

Meanwhile, SBMI's compensation for the Sukabumi Regency area was received by Agus, who is the guardian of an orphan named Zaki. Compensation was handed over to the At Ittihad Council, Bojongkokosan Village, Parungkuda District.
