Sukabumi5 times the house was flooded with mud, residents: Perum BMI 6 Parungkuda Sukabumi were careless

sukabumiheadline.com – The process of building the Bumi Mutiara Indah (BMI) 6 Housing Complex in Parungkuda Village/District, Sukabumi Regency, West Java, is considered to have harmed residents.

According to information obtained, residents of Kampung Gang Metro RT 003/003, Parungkuda Village, are often hit by mud floods from the housing development area. It is known that the housing complex is located at the top of a residential area, so that when it rains heavily, the drainage channel cannot accommodate the spilled water.

It can be seen in the photos and videos received by the editorial team that the mud flood came from the drainage channel from the residential area. No wonder, the water mixed with soil not only hit the land and roads, but also entered the bedrooms of residents around the housing complex.

One of the residents, Hendri (30) admitted that he was annoyed because the mud flood, on Friday (26/4/2024) afternoon, happened for the fifth time.

"We are annoyed and feel disadvantaged by the process of building the BMI 6 housing complex. "Every time it rains, people's houses are flooded, and this has happened for the fifth time," said Hendri sukabumiheadline.com, Friday (26/4/2024) evening.

Hendri added that mediation had previously been carried out with the village government (Pemdes) and the housing developer at the Parungkuda Village Office.

"Even though there have been discussions at the Parungkuda Village Office, until now there have been no improvement activities or concrete steps taken by the developer," regrets Hendri.

“We, the residents, are very disadvantaged. "In this case, the developer seems to have not planned carefully, so the process is actually detrimental to residents," he added.

Hendri admitted that he understood that the construction had not been completed. However, if the developer plans carefully and realizes that the housing complex is located near residential areas, this will not happen.

"This housing complex is very large, drainage channels should have been considered from the start because the position of this project is at the top of the village, a residential area," stressed Hendri.

“This is clearly random. "Without careful planning, it will be detrimental to residents, especially since it has happened repeatedly," he concluded.

Meanwhile, the Head of Parungkuda Village, Didih Jaenudin, until this news was written, had not responded to confirmation attempts from the editorial team.
